About

There is never a time when I am not in the middle of a project. Since I am not committed to one medium or methodology of work practice I am simultaneously focused and scattered everywhere. For what's on my plate I get an amazing amount accomplished and often am thankful for my compulsive photography habit to keep track of my life. I most often work as a documentary maker, set-designer, illustrator, artist, writer, photographer, curator and events organizer.

At home in Milwaukee I curate an art space called Sky High Gallery that is tucked into the back room of my partners Skateboard Shop he has owned for over 10 years. Since 2004 I have produced a local show called Art vs. Craft that supports innovative makers & handmade goods. I am continually searching for good things-- music, food and art objects. My desire to share and collect drives me to keep searching & meeting new people at home and while I travel.

I grew up an only child of two amazing parents. My mother Suzanne lives on a organic farm and makes cheese with her husband Roger. My father is a world famous astrologer who's horoscopes grace such sites as AOL, Google, Myspace along with others. Their joint support and influence is why I am doing the work I am today.

Similar to my current work, my past is also all over the place and goes something like this; born in Minneapolis, MN. Grew up small in Los Angeles. Got wild teen style in the Seattle burbs with the big city nearby. Twenty something's back to Minneapolis. Found the cheaper less inhabited Milwaukee in 2001 with a short-lived romance in New Orleans & ended up back in Milwaukee where I am currently rooted with no plans of leaving anytime soon.

I am always interested in new jobs and projects. Please contact me if you are interested in working together.
