There is never a time when I am not in the middle of a project. Since I am not committed to one medium or methodology of work practice I am simultaneously focused and scattered everywhere. For what's on my plate I get an amazing amount accomplished and often am thankful for my compulsive photography habit to keep track of my life. I most often work as a documentary maker, set-designer, illustrator, artist, writer, photographer, curator and events organizer.
Milwaukee [sandblasted in 2007] circa 2004
I grew up an only child of two amazing parents. My mother Suzanne lives on a organic farm and makes cheese with her husband Roger Wechsler. My father Rick Levine is a well known astrologer who's horoscopes are syndicated through many popular sites. Their joint support and influence is why I am doing the work I am today.
Similar to my current work, my past is also all over the place and goes something like this; born in Minneapolis, MN. Grew up small in Los Angeles. Got wild teen style in the Seattle burbs with the big city nearby. Twenty something's back to Minneapolis. Found the cheaper less inhabited Milwaukee in 2001 with a short-lived romance of New Orleans & ended up back in Milwaukee for 12 more years and finally said goodbye in the fall of 2014. I am currently based in the south exploring new ideas and deciding where to call home.
My desire to share, collect and continually search for good things-- music, food and art objects is my motivation. It's what drives me to keep searching & meeting new people at home and while I travel. I am always interested in new jobs and projects. Please contact me if you are interested in working together.
